I LOVE Intermittent Fasting

It’s incredible the stupidities humans will come up with, just to avoid the actual, simple thing they need to do.

One of the most popular ones today is Intermittent Fasting (IF).

So you don’t eat 16hrs a day, you do eat 8. Or 12-12, whatever.

Now, let’s forget about the fact that NO animal in the nature will voluntarily fast. I mean, animals are smarter than that.

Not humans tho!

For humans, fasting is THE key and the magic you’ve been waiting for.

People have “cured” diabetes, lost 20 pounds in a week, grew muscle like a hulk and even built businesses overnight.

All thanks to IF.


Yeah, your growth hormone is slightly elevated when you fast.

Big fucking deal.

It’s your body trying to give you some more energy to find food, you moron. Just like your resting metabolism is (temporarily) elevated when you don’t eat anything for a day or two.

-Your diabetes being “cured”? Try intelligent dieting and some exercise. I bet you your diabetes gets cured.

-You lost X pounds in Y days? Yeah, re-hydrate dumbass.

-IF gave you mental clarity? That’s too stupid to even comment on.

-You built muscle while fasting? Sure you did. 600mg of testosterone does it. Without steroids – good luck.

The truth?

You need to learn to manage your calorie intake.

That is THE only key you’ll ever need to get the ripped, fit and sexy af body.

Calorie control. This is what every diet out there forces you to do – while telling you calories don’t matter.

If you learn to control your calories, you won’t need any stupidities. You’ll simply be able to eat as many times as you’d like and even include treats and junk foods occasionally.

As long as you manage total calories. Because calories are king.

But then again, that’s too simple and can’t possibly work. And it requires learning a skill – to manage your calorie intake.

Screw that. I’ll just fast.

Or cut all carbs.

Or all fats.

Or eat like paleo people ate.

I’ll do anything to avoid doing the one thing I need to do.

Ok, rant over.

Takeaway: yes, if fasting fits your lifestyle and you like it – great! There are many other (nonsense) approaches you can take, and if some of them fit you and get you results – great.

The best diet is the one that works for you.
The best diet in the world sucks if it doesn’t work for you.

Use paleo, keto, Atkins or IF, whatever. The one that works for you is THE right one. Regardless of how stupid (or unnecessary it is).

But don’t think or promote that any of them have special powers or magic behind it.

Instead, learn them fucking calories, will ya? Familiarize yourself with the calorie counts of most foods and you’ll have the actual keys to freedom forever.

Don’t learn that and you’ll fall for the next stupidity that comes out next week. And week after that.

P.S. – million dollar question for the IF and keto zealots out there: keto +IF is the shit these days. Causes weight loss like nothing else.

So you limit the time you eat to 8hrs a day, AND you cut ALL your carbs…

Could it be that maybe, just maybe that approach results in a huge calorie deficit?
